The Effect of Dust Storm on Sea Surface Temperature in the Western Basin of Persian Gulf

A dust storm is one of the costliest and most destructive events in many desert regions. This research investigates effect on sea surface temperature (SST) western zone Persian Gulf, especially Bushehr Province its beaches years 2008 2009. Therefore, some climate parameters such as SST, salinity, air temperature, wind velocity direction, evaporation, horizontal visibility, sunshine hours radiation, simultaneously measured a specific period time, were analyzed by comparing each them with satellite data. Sea analysis summer shows that maximum SST Gulf along neighbor waters to County central regions northern section about 34–36 °C. The amplitude variation these places ranges from 28 34 °C when there are phenomena, it 29.5 31 outcome this study increases during dusting phenomena causes an increase vapor result decrease occurs. On other hand, leads growth amount layer earth’s cloud cover finally effective short-wave decrease. As result, terminates.
